“But this is what I commanded them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you will be My people; and you will walk in all the way which I command you, that it may be well with you'” Jeremiah 7:23.

Now I am a bit too young to know exactly what occurred during the ’70’s but something powerful occurred that has recently caught my attention.  I had vaguely heard of this movement when I was younger but due to the religion I was raised in I was told that the “movement” was of Satan.

The Jesus Revelation!

banner-949932__180Can anything with that in the title really be bad?  I was too young and naive to question the religious worldview that our family was involved in.  In all honesty I had completely forgotten about it until just a few weeks ago and only really became intrigued last night.

My husband and I had the privilege of going to dinner and a movie with our pastors.  We watched the movie “Woodlawn” which was based on the impact of this movement.  From the obedience of one man, high school students, college students, and a community was converted to following the Lord’s example as their Savior.

What happened?  Why did it fizzle out and not continue to spread?  That does not mean that people are not being converted today but not by the multitudes that they were.  Throughout history the obedience of one person has changed thousands because they chose to be all in with the Lord.  Just to name a few:

Moses
Mother Teresa
Jesus
Joan of Arc
John the Baptist
Aimee Semple McPherson
Peter
Beth Moore
Billy Graham
Priscilla Shirer

Why are so few people all in for Him? Why do we see more and more people whispering the good news of His free gift?  These questions have had my head spinning most of the day.  I know that I am all in but not sure how to create, encourage, or promote the Jesus Revelation.  His voice is well with my soul that I will be obedient to do what He desires from me, which is to find out how to improve on the results of the ’70’s Revelation.  I guess it is time for me to start a new research project.

My challenge for you all is: figure out how you can be the obedient “one” to get the ball rolling because all it takes is one person to light the match for the fire to spread.

All in 4 Him!
