Some time ago, I posted about a lovely family, the Hannan’s. This family was in need of financial support due to medical complications their son was facing. My sister and her family took on a major challenge. They put together an auction with all proceeds benefiting the Hannan’s. At the start of this project she did some research about what the average donation amount was for these sort of fundraisers. She felt very confident that a prayer of $10,000 would be a great amount to ask God to provide, for the family. My sister did not share her prayer request with anyone but her husband, my mom and myself.
When she talked to me about it, I just had this overwhelming prophetic feeling. I have never experienced this prophetic insight before.
God had greater plans for this family.
He told me $10,000 was not enough for Him. Now I am not sharing this with you all to toot my own horn. I simply wan to say, I know first hand that He can move mountains. I have seen it. I told my sister, that day, that God will double her desire.
Just to prove He can, to show her He is greater than even we can fathom, make anything happen.
My sissy called me, the morning after the auction, to tell me that the person who was in charge of finances informed the Hannan’s that the final tally was just over $20,000….just over double of what my sister was initially praying for.
The call was so affirming for me. It brought tears to my eyes that I was a small part in the miracle mountain-moving blessing the Hannan’s received.
How is your faith, can it move mountains? What mountains are directly in your path, think about them and then pray for God to move them farther than you could have ever imagined.
