“A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!” Psalm 15:23
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1
I love seasons, they keep you fresh and alert.
I just recently ended a season in my life and although it was not one I wanted to be rid of, I had great peace from God about the decision.
I am a big believer in prayer because of how I have seen God using it in my life.
It is not uncommon for me to tell someone, when a big decision needs to be made (even little decisions for that matter), that I need to take some time to pray about it. This method has worked time and time again; big believer. There was a decision I needed to pray about a few months ago. During this stage, all He would tell me was “stay, wait on me.” The same issue came up a few weeks ago, in all honesty it never left but became more prominent. I, along with my husband, began praying about what to do – stay or go? God gave us an overwhelming “go” and gave us both peace that we were following His lead and plan for our lives. So we went.
Since this incident, I have been in contact with several people who were affected by the “go” and their response/behavior towards us was just an extreme blessing of affirmation. I love them and am proud to be a part of their lives. No matter what season I am in that will never change. He created my heart the way that it is, guides it and delivers me to a closer relationship with Him.
I am prayerfully thinking about this future season and what it will bring with great anticipation, like the dawning of Springtime.
Which season are you in and are you loving it?
